The Sony A7 III is not obsolete in 2026. Its 24MP sensor, dependable autofocus, dual-card design and long battery life still make sense for photo-first buyers. The catch is price: with the newer A7 IV listed €700 higher in the German reference market, the A7 III earns its recommendation new or used when the discount is real.
